SMC scraped surface heat exchangers are particularly suitable for high viscosity products such as mayonnaise, dessert jellies, with suspended solids such as yogurt with fruit, with caramel products such as lecithin and jams and with crystallizing products such as tea, coffee extracts, margarine.
These exchangers are equipped with reliable and highly efficient SEW gearmotors. The connections are hygienic with tangential inlets and can be steam flushed to make the machine completely aseptic, therefore we have maximum hygiene.
The blades can be produced in different FDA certified materials, easily removable for quick maintenance. The assembly is modular and therefore it is possible to mount the modules in series to have a larger exchange surface.
